The Endor Set
The forest moon

Bluescreen
technology and a camera - suspended on a
mobile crane, created the illusion of the speeding
bikes on Endor. Squint and you'll see Carrie and Mark
clinging on for dear life, trying not to fall off.
To
capture the propper lighting, some
mini-sets were moved off the soundstage and
out onto the parkinglot. This, I believe, is
the filming of a scene with the walkers -
later destroyed by the Ewoks, in the forest.
Filming
the scene when Leia counters Han's
declaration of love from ESB, with
the notorious "-I love you. -I know."
On
the forest moon of Endor... Mayhew and Fisher
checking their weapons. (But where are they pointing
those things? Looks like Mayhew's got a happy trigger finger.)
Look
Look George, I got a splinter! - George
Lucas and Harrison Ford (looking like a
lumberjack) discussing a scene, in the middle
of the forest.
The
dramatic scene where Leia was wounded while Han
tried to pick the lock.

"What's also great for me is to watch the kids watch that love scene
(in the Falcon when Han and Leia kiss for the first time) and they don't
go, 'Yucky.'" - Harrison Ford
(Rolling Stone)
